'Hey Nietzsche!' Recap
Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at 06:43PM Many thanks to our good friend Craig Schuftan for inviting us to play at his book launch last night at The Hoey! And thanks to all those people who braved the torrential rain outside and the oppressive heat inside to be at the show.
For those of you who weren't there we knocked out versions of 'How Soon Is Now' by The Smiths (apologies to the purists for cutting it down to four minutes from the original six or so), Weezer's 'Why Bother?', The Cure's 'The Hanging Garden' and 'Hounds Of Love' by Kate Bush. Sarah Blasko provided a gorgeously fractured version of Bowie's 'Heroes' as well as a track from her new album.
There are a few photos and a bit of a run down of the evening over here! And some more pics over at the triple j website
Craig's book, 'Hey Nietzsche! Leave Them Kids Alone!' is out now!
