Most of you will be unaware that in a previous life our own Adam 'Wesley' Gregorace, Devoted Few bass player and purveyor of fine cheeses, was a member of the almost famous Sydney punk band, Cult 45. Actually, if you ask Wes they were entirely famous. Here's Cult 45 playing at the Metro in Sydney in 1997. Look out for Wes. He's the guy with the massive green spiked mohawk and vinyl jumpsuit! I kid you not. Enjoy!

The Sydney band's third album has incredible energy and urgency. Led by Benjamin Fletcher (who's also part of Sarah Blasko's band), The Devoted Few deliver dramatic, intelligent pop-rock, with enough twists and turns to satisfy their indie following. The incendiary opener, Trigger Fingers, sets the scene, with Fletcher declaring: "All we need is three chords, you and me". Baby, You're A Vampire should be this band's breakthrough album. We'll also be playing a few of our own just for shits & giggles. Sarah Blasko is also performing a song or two, so it should be a pretty special evening.

It's open to the public and best of all it's free to get in! So come along if you like a little high culture with your rock & roll. And be sure to check out Craig's book.
